OBJECTIVES
We are the apex representative of the Aluminium Fabrication industry representing all categories of membership.
- To plan and implement a common voice in the field of Aluminium Fabrication Industry in Sri Lanka, and arrive to a common agreement, and bring solutions to problems faced by the industry.
- Educate the members on new technologies, product developments etc. and encourage members to upgrade their products and fabrication process.
- Cooperation with the supplier & manufacturers to obtain better benefits to members.
- Conduct training sessions for the members to upgrade skills to meet the industry developments and make them professionals in the trade satisfy the end customer requirements.
- Introduce new technologies by conducting seminars, workshops to the members and equip them with the skills to compete with overseas entities to win project to bring the foreign exchange to the country.
- Implement wokfoce training programs and certification system to have Technically qualified fabricators with NVQ or equalent qualifications.
- Deal with Government Departments, Department of Customs. Department of Inland Revenue, Provincial Councils or such other institutions that enforce taxes and other laws/ regulations to the Aluminium fabrication trade and make representation on behalf of members.
